What’s it like to stay here?
Splash Village is run by the family behind Zehnder's of Frankenmuth, the chicken-dinner restaurant that opened on Mother's Day 1929. It has 179 rooms and more than 50,000 sq ft of indoor water attractions in two separate areas, one under a retractable roof, which Zehnder's says makes it Michigan's only retractable-roof waterpark. Every overnight stay includes waterpark passes, and hotel guests get early and extended access: from noon on arrival until 4 p.m. on the day you leave. The family's Fortress Golf Course is nearby.

Getting there
Check the packages: Splashtastic and Eat and Sleep bundle breakfast with your passes. A $25 nightly amenity fee applies when the waterpark is open; parking is free. Check-in 4 p.m., check-out 11 a.m.
