Xochi's Gift Shop

Family-run Mexicantown gift shop since 1985, packed with Mexican folk art, silver jewelry, Day of the Dead pieces and western wear.

01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Xochi's Gift Shop opened on Bagley Street in 1985, right around the time the neighborhood got the name Mexicantown. It started small with cassettes, pottery, sombreros and maracas; today the shelves are full of handmade crafts, folk art, sterling silver jewelry and western wear. The family buys directly from artisans across Mexico, and Day of the Dead art stays out all year. Cristina Zamora, the founder's granddaughter, now carries the shop forward.
