The University of Michigan-Flint's theatre program stages student productions at the UM-Flint Theatre, 327 E. Kearsley Street, in downtown Flint. Tickets are sold through the Flint Institute of Music, which lists the shows as “A Production of UM-Flint Fine & Performing Arts.” In the 2026-27 season, Sarah Ruhl's Dead Man's Cellphone opens on October 16, 2026. The musical The Lightning Thief follows, opening on March 20, 2027.
