Make time for these
Union Joints got its start in Clarkston in 1995 and likes to call itself the little house that mac and cheese built. The group's thing is opening restaurants in one-of-a-kind buildings: The Clarkston Union, Union Woodshop, Vinsetta Garage, Fenton Fire Hall, Bunkhouse Burgers, Honcho, Gran Castor, downtown's Union Assembly and Eminem's Mom's Spaghetti all come from here. Lincoln Yard in Birmingham, for example, took over an old bus garage.
