What’s it like to stay here?
This 271-room building on Wickham Road has worn a lot of names: the Metropolitan Hotel until it closed in 2012, the Radisson Hotel Detroit Metro Airport when it reopened in 2016, then Delta Hotels Detroit Metro Airport, and now a Travelodge. A free shuttle runs to DTW, and parking is free, trucks and RVs included. Rooms have a microwave and mini-fridge, breakfast costs a little extra, and there's a restaurant, bar, gym and meeting space on site. It's a solid pick for the night before an early flight.

Getting there
You must be 21 to check in, and there's a $150 cash deposit at check-in. In September 2026 the hotel said its pool was temporarily closed for maintenance, so ask if you plan to swim.
