Travel Michigan is the state's tourism office and a division of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation; it runs the Pure Michigan brand and michigan.org. The Pure Michigan campaign launched in 2006 with Tim Allen's voice, got an extra $45 million from Governor Jennifer Granholm in 2008 and went national in March 2009. Planning a trip anywhere in the state? michigan.org is a solid starting point.
