Transgender Pride in the Park is a free, picnic-style Pride celebration for transgender people and their allies, organized by Transgender Michigan. It is held on a Saturday in August to mark the anniversary of the 1966 Compton's Cafeteria riot, and the 2026 event on August 22 was its 26th. The afternoon brings together a stage, a vendor area, food and community resources. It is the main trans-specific Pride event in metro Detroit.
