The Transgender Day of Remembrance is a yearly vigil held on November 20 to remember transgender people killed by anti-trans violence. In Michigan, Transgender Michigan encourages local observances and keeps a statewide list of them. In 2025, for example, the University of Michigan Spectrum Center held an evening observance at the Michigan League in Ann Arbor. In 2026 the date falls on a Friday.
