They Say has been pouring drinks and plating comfort food at 267 Joseph Campau since 2006, on the east edge of downtown a few blocks up from the riverfront. The menu reads like a show program: sandwiches in Act 1, salads at Intermission, and Head Liner entrées like turkey chops, fried catfish, rib tips in They Say BBQ sauce and lamb chops. The restaurant bills its BBQ wings as a house specialty, and there's now a second They Say in Harper Woods with live music on Friday nights.
