01 / The story of this place

The Old Park Bar is the name now attached to 2040 Park Ave, the corner space that housed the Park Bar, in the same 1924 Albert Kahn building as Cliff Bell's. The building sat empty for more than two decades until Jerry Belanger restored it and opened the Park Bar there in December 2006. In 2017 the building was sold to the owner of Cliff Bell's. Right now the new bar's website only says it's launching soon, so check before you count on a drink here.
