The seven-story, 227-room Godfrey opened in August 2023 on Michigan Avenue between Trumbull and Eighth Street, developed by Oxford Capital with Hunter Pasteur and part of Hilton's Curio Collection. The star is I|O, a rooftop lounge whose glass walls and roof retract, so it works in any season, with views over Corktown and the downtown skyline. Downstairs you'll find Hamilton's, an all-day restaurant with a terrace on Michigan Avenue, plus a lobby bar, an indoor pool and a 5,100-square-foot ballroom. Corner rooms run up to 490 square feet, and Comerica Park and Michigan Central are a short ride away.

Hilton Honors members earn points here. I|O has its own elevator, so you can head up for a drink even if you're staying elsewhere; parking is valet only, and the price isn't published.
