Tamarack Music Festival bills itself as 'the best tiny music festival in the Mitten State.' About two dozen mostly Michigan bands and solo acts play two stages, from rock, folk and bluegrass to blues, funk, Cajun and reggae, with a drum circle, workshops, tie-dye and craft and food vendors. The hosts earlier ran an annual reggae event on the site for 12 years.
