The Pontiac Mall Cinema I & II opened on March 14, 1973, as a General Cinema twin at the Pontiac Mall, later known as Summit Place. It later gained a third screen. National Amusements took it over in 1983. It closed on March 27, 1994, and was demolished in 2014.
