Sugah Please is Wendy Ringo's brunch spot on West Jefferson in downtown's Financial District. The kitchen serves Southern comfort food with Creole spice and modern twists: fluffy pancakes, benedicts and big brunch plates. Dessert gets equal billing, with cakes and pies baked fresh every day and coffee roasted fresh. There are brunch cocktails and a dog-friendly patio. No reservations: seating is first come, first served, and your whole party has to be there.
