Stonewall Sports Detroit, launched in 2019, is the local chapter of the national nonprofit Stonewall Sports. It runs recreational leagues for LGBTQ+ players and allies, and the leagues also raise money for local charities. Kickball is played at Jayne Field (13280 Conant) and dodgeball at the University of Detroit Mercy's Student Fitness Center, with bowling, billiards, cornhole, pickleball and volleyball also on offer. In 2026 the summer kickball season was scheduled for Sundays from August 9 to October 4, and spring dodgeball for Wednesday evenings from May 13 to July 1.
