Make time for these
For years the Spiral was Lansing's main gay and lesbian video dance club, an Old Town fixture known for its large dance floor, DJs and drag shows. Sources differ on whether it opened in 1998 or 2000. It closed in March 2020 as the pandemic began, and a 2021 plan to reopen it under a new owner and a new name never materialized. Since April 2024 the building has housed the Copper Moon event space, which kept the club's giant disco ball.
