Make time for these
SOHO opened on Nine Mile Road in 2004 as a quieter, neighborhood alternative to its owner's former Q nightclub a few doors away. It has since become an anchor of downtown Ferndale's nightlife: a martini-and-video lounge with a pool table and a dog-friendly patio. The crowd is mostly gay men, but the room is mixed and welcoming to everyone. The lineup includes karaoke, trivia, dance parties and drag bingo, and SOHO also presents queer parties at the neighboring event space 215 West, such as the Studio 69 queer disco night in September 2026.
