The Macomb Mall Cinema opened on December 22, 1965, as a General Cinema twin next to Macomb Mall, near the site of the Gratiot Drive-In. It premiered with The Greatest Story Ever Told. Over the years it grew to eight screens. It ended as the second-run Silver Cinemas 8 and closed in April 2015. It has since been demolished.
