Shake Shack Downtown Detroit
The New York burger chain's downtown spot on Campus Martius: burgers, fries and shakes until midnight on weekends.
01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Shake Shack started as a hot dog cart in Manhattan's Madison Square Park, set up to support the park conservancy's first art installation, and people lined up for three summers straight. That cart grew into the global burger chain, and its Detroit outpost sits in the First National Building on Campus Martius. Expect burgers, fries and thick shakes, served until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. It's an easy stop after skating or a downtown stroll.
