Sedona Taphouse's Troy restaurant was the Virginia chain's sixth location and its first in Michigan. Founder Dennis Barbaro started in Midlothian with 50 taps and hundreds of bottles, and beer is still the focus, alongside cocktails, wine and New American plates. There's Sunday brunch, a weekday afternoon happy hour and private event space for business dinners. The chain's charity program has given more than half a million dollars to local groups.
