Rush 2 Escape opened on Cooley Lake Road in Waterford and advertised "some of the largest escape rooms in Michigan." Rooms fit up to 14 players, and games ran longer than 60 minutes. Its first room, Bank Heist Gone Wrong, was open by July 2016, and Wimpy's Hideaway followed. The promise was refreshingly simple: no zombies and no claustrophobic tight quarters. It has since closed.
