Make time for these
The plaza, an ice rink in winter, hosts the Grand Rapids Original Swing Society's outdoor Tuesday-night swing dances, drawing on average 500 and up to 1,000 dancers. A free lesson starts at 7pm, with mostly East Coast swing plus some West Coast, lindy hop and line dancing, and some nights feature a live band. In winter GROSS partners with the Grand Rapids Public Museum.
