The theater opened on March 26, 1998, as UA Commerce Township 14, one of the last cinemas United Artists built before its bankruptcy and absorption into Regal. It had 14 screens with stadium seating. Regal ran it for two decades as western Oakland County's stadium-seat multiplex. It closed in October 2025. That left Regal with no cinema in metro Detroit.
