The R&R Saloon was a laid-back leather bar on Michigan Avenue in Southwest Detroit and a Detroit leather institution for decades. It hosted the Mr. Leather Detroit contest and was the original home of Macho City, a disco-infused DJ night. After losing its liquor license, it closed abruptly, with its last night on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Its memorabilia is among the items preserved at Menjo's, where Macho City also moved.
