01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Pronto! has served Royal Oak's LGBTQ+ community since 1991 as a video bar, drag showbar and diner, with one of the largest patios in town. In 2020 the owners of neighboring Five15 bought it, and it now runs as Pronto Lounge & Showbar plus Pronto Diner, forming a small queer entertainment complex at 6th and Washington. The weekly lineup includes karaoke, game nights and a drag open stage, with a monthly Lesbian Night and the Latin Fiesta Friday, plus DIR-TEA Sunday patio parties in summer. In 2026 its patio hosted the Arts, Beats & Eats Pride stage.
