Powell's Pub is a no-frills bar on North Huron Street with dartboards and pool tables, right at the edge of the EMU campus. Karaoke runs every Saturday from 9pm to 1am. In January 2026 the student paper, The Eastern Echo, listed it among Ypsilanti's go-to night spots. Regulars aren't shy about duets, as a 2025 video shows.
