01 / The story of this place

Make time for these

Pistons Sports & Entertainment is the Platinum Equity company that has owned the Detroit Pistons since June 2011. Beyond the NBA team, it runs the Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center, the G League's Motor City Cruise and 313 Presents, a 2017 joint venture with Olympia Entertainment that books concerts, shows and family events at six venues, Little Caesars Arena, the Fox Theatre and Comerica Park among them. The Pistons date to 1941, came to Detroit in 1957 and won NBA titles in 1989, 1990 and 2004.
