The Woodland Mall cinema opened on November 18, 2005 as a 14-screen, 2,500-seat Cinemark. Celebration Cinema later ran it and in 2007 turned it into a $3.50 art-house and second-run house. It closed in March 2020, and the closure was made permanent that May. Michigan-based Phoenix Theatres reopened it in early April 2022 with heated recliners throughout and Dolby Atmos in four auditoriums. Phoenix also has cinemas in Livonia, Monroe and Wayne in Michigan, plus locations in Iowa, Massachusetts and Ohio.
