Make time for these
Since 1973, Noel Night has filled Midtown with live music, choirs, jazz and gospel, plus ice carving and family activities, on a single December evening. The 2024 edition drew about 36,000 people to 89 venues, including the Detroit Institute of Arts, Wayne State University and the Charles H. Wright Museum. Organizer Midtown Detroit, Inc. paused the event in 2025 to rethink and fund it and has said it plans to bring it back in 2026, but no date had been announced as of September 25, 2026.
