NCG Trillium Cinemas opened on May 19, 2006 in Grand Blanc, a fast-growing Flint suburb, with fourteen screens. It's a retro-styled megaplex with stadium seating in every auditorium. An IMAX theater joined in November 2007, bringing the total to 15 screens and 2,500 seats. It's operated by Owosso-based Neighborhood Cinema Group, which runs a $2 Fall Family Film Festival, sensory-friendly showings and Spanish-language screenings across its cinemas.
