MJR Brighton Cinema is a 20-screen first-run multiplex on Murphy Drive in Brighton, Livingston County. It opened on June 29, 2001 as the MJR Brighton Towne Square Cinema 16, and four more screens were added in 2012. The flagship is a Laser Ultra premium auditorium with a super-sized screen, 4K laser projection, Dolby Atmos and heated zero-gravity recliners. There are VIP seats and a Studio Bar & Lounge, and luxury recliners in the other rooms, too. Every feature showtime offers closed captioning and descriptive audio unless noted.

Tickets are $5 on Tuesdays, with surcharges for VIP seats, Laser Ultra and 3D. After 6 p.m., kids 6 and under can't attend PG-13 features (family films excepted) and never R-rated ones; under-17s need a parent or guardian 21+ for R-rated films. Questions go to (810) 227-4700.
