The Mirage opened around 1995 as the S.S. Dinghy on North Walnut Street in Mount Clemens and was later renamed. A long front bar greeted guests, with a small dance floor and a pool room. One reader's recollection puts the crowd at roughly two-thirds men and one-third women. The building burned down in late 1998 or early 1999.
