01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Michigan Leather Pride was created in late 2019 after the Great Lakes Leather Alliance and its Michigan feeder contest dissolved. It holds inclusive title contests (Sir, boy, Ms., Mx. and Community Bootblack) alongside education and social events. Full contests began in October 2022, the same year Michigan's first nonbinary (Mx.) title was awarded. The 2026 weekend is set for October 23–25, with venues to be announced.
