Michigan Jazz Festival
A free one-day jazz festival on the Schoolcraft College campus in Livonia, featuring mostly Michigan jazz musicians on the third Sunday of July.

Make time for these
Begun in the 1990s by big-band leaders to showcase local talent, it has been hosted since 1999 by Schoolcraft College, a principal sponsor. Seven indoor stages in the air-conditioned VisTaTech Center join an outdoor stage, a Future of Jazz stage and an All-Star Band; the nonprofit Michigan Jazz Festival, Inc. runs it.
