A two-day Celtic festival on the second weekend of July at the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds just north of Saline, with Celtic bands, pipe bands and Irish and Highland dance.

Make time for these
The City of Saline founded the festival in 1996 to mark its sister-city tie with Brecon, Wales; it moved from Mill Pond Park to the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds in 2023, became the Michigan Celtic Festival in 2024 and has since been run by the nonprofit Friends of the Festival. Several stages carry Celtic bands, pipe bands, Irish step and Highland dance, with Highland games, clan tents and a beer garden around them. Friday is an evening party; Saturday is the full festival day.
