Madcap Coffee Company started in Grand Rapids in 2008, runs its own roastery there, and has become one of Michigan's best-known specialty coffee names. Founder Trevor Corlett is an award-winning, nationally recognized barista and trainer. Every coffee comes through traceable, direct relationships with producers, and the team picks the lots that go to roast. The Detroit café sits in downtown's Parker's Alley, with sister cafés in Grand Rapids and Ferndale.
