Make time for these
Lunchtime Global has been feeding downtown's office crowd since 2008 from Suite 110 at 660 Woodward Avenue. It's family-owned, and soup is the star: eight kinds are made from scratch daily, always with a vegan, a vegetarian and a beef-based option in the lineup. Salads, sandwiches and rotating specials pulled from cuisines around the world fill out the menu, with organic choices too. The family says it buys from local farmers and Michigan suppliers, and it caters office lunches and events.
