Chip Wilson founded lululemon in Vancouver in 1998 to sell yoga pants and yoga wear, and the brand has since grown into sportswear, lifestyle clothes, shoes and accessories. Its downtown Detroit store sits at 1459 Woodward Ave, on the stretch between Campus Martius and Grand Circus Park where national brands now line the street. Stop in for running layers, training gear or something comfy for travel before you explore downtown on foot.
