Make time for these
LGBT Detroit is a Black-founded and Black-led LGBTQ+ nonprofit that began in 1994 as Kick Publishing, later known as KICK. It describes itself as North America's largest organization of its kind. From the Marvin Lee Building on Greenfield Road, it runs health, education and media programs, including the LGBT Detroit Broadcast Network. It also organizes Hotter Than July, Detroit's Black Pride, and the Cold As Hell winter event.
