Make time for these
The family behind La Lanterna describes it as a homecoming to Capitol Park, where their story started in 1956. The restaurant fills the ground floor of the Albert building with Neapolitan-style brick-oven pizzas, salads, paninis, pastas and classic Italian entrées. A 12-seat marble bar pours a full bar list plus affordable wines from California and Italy. Its sister restaurants are Da Edoardo in Grosse Pointe Woods and Cafe Nini in Grosse Pointe Farms.
