Make time for these
La Feria opened in October 2013, started by friends Pilar Barón-Hidalgo, Naomi Khalil and Elias Khalil. The idea comes from Seville's Feria de Abril: for about 17 years they threw their own yearly feria in Michigan, full of cooking and dancing, until the party needed a permanent home. La Feria seats 45 for tapas, and next door the 32-seat Cata Vino wine bar and mercado sells bottled sangria and Spanish pantry goods to take home.
