What's it like to sing here?
The cabin opened on January 31, 1947, as The Rustic Tavern, a roadhouse and dance hall that once hosted Johnny Cash & The Tennessee Two. Karl Poulos reopened it as Karl's Family Restaurant in 1982. For years the main dining room ran supper-club-style dinners with dueling pianos, and guests sang along right from their seats. The restaurant is currently taking a break from live entertainment, dueling pianos included, and hosts Fireside Dinner Concerts instead.
