Make time for these
The center is named for Jim Toy, who in 1970 became Michigan's first publicly out gay man. Founded in 1995, it spent years on Braun Court and ran its programs virtually during the pandemic. In early 2025 it reopened in a house at 560 South Main Street, offering support groups, a book club and community events. The center also organizes Ann Arbor Pride each August.
