03 / The story of this place
What’s it like to stay here?
It grew out of a 1981 bingo hall, became the Hannahville Casino in 1985 and the Chip-In Casino in 1987; today's casino and the Island Showroom opened in December 1998, with a convention center following in 1999. There are 454 rooms and suites, a saltwater pool, a spa and the Splash Island waterpark, so the kids stay busy while you hit the floor. Golfers get two championship courses: Sweetgrass, named 2022 Jemsek National Course of the Year, and the newer Sage Run. Headline acts play the Island Showroom, and six restaurants, bars and a cafe keep you fed.
