What's it like to sing here?
The Inn Place had been North Main's neighborhood bar and grill since 1989, with the slogan “You are a stranger here but once!”, a kitchen open until midnight and a bar open until 2am every night. Karaoke was the big draw: Metro Times called the nights raucous and supportive when its readers voted the Inn Place Best Karaoke Bar in 2016. Regulars were already filming singing contests here back in 2009.
