What’s it like to stay here?
The four late-19th-century Victorian houses and their carriage house belonged to the Detroit Institute of Arts from the 1970s until they were renovated into an inn around 2000–2001. Each of the 33 rooms is styled differently, and some have big soaking tubs. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, and you can rent a whole house for an event. A 2026 renovation is adding a full-service restaurant, and the inn stays open while the work goes on. The DIA, Wayne State and the Detroit Medical Center are all a block away.
