Inferno opened in the Inkster building at 1641 Middlebelt Road that had been home to Stiletto's, one of the area's few lesbian-focused clubs. Under its new name the club drew a mixed LGBTQ+ crowd. Its opening and closing years are not documented, but listings now mark it as closed.
