House of Shamrocks has been pouring on John R since 2002, with a green wraparound awning, a sidewalk patio and more than 90 beers. Wednesday is karaoke night from 7:30 to 11:30pm, Tuesday brings trivia and Friday is bar bingo. Owner Michael Wilds also runs the Irish Viking, a speakeasy tucked into the side of the building. The pub throws St. Patrick's Day and Halloween parties every year.
