What was here?
Travel writer Meghan McEwen, the blogger behind DesignTripper, opened it in November 2011 on the second floor of a Victorian building on Michigan Avenue in Corktown, right above Slows Bar BQ. There were just two bedrooms, filled with furniture and goods by local designers, and the house hosted cooking classes. In 2013 The New York Times praised it as one of Detroit's quirky places to stay. Its old domain now runs an unrelated site and we found no current listing, so we treat it as closed; we don't know when it shut.
