Suburban outpost of Detroit's 1893 hat shop, on 10 Mile Road: fedoras, homburgs, caps, plus hat cleaning and blocking.
01 / The story of this place
Make time for these
Henry the Hatter has been Detroit's hatter since 1893, and the Wasserman family has run it since 1948. In 1991 the family opened this Southfield store in the New Orleans Mall on West 10 Mile Road, and it's still going alongside the flagship in Eastern Market. You'll find the same deep selection of Stetson, Borsalino, Kangol and Dobbs, dress hats and casual caps for every season. Bring in a tired old favorite, too; they do cleaning and reblocking.
